This week: Heart failure and a new neuro-oncology program

Nurse Natasha Zmitrowitz provides an overview of heart failure, explaining how many people with the diagnosis are able to live full lives, perhaps with some lifestyle modifications. In this episode of “HealthLink on Air” she goes over the signs and symptoms, how the disease is diagnosed and how it is treated.

Also on this week’s program, Dr. Ruham Nasany unveils the neuro-oncology program at Upstate. Nasany is a neurologist who specializes in the treatment of tumors of the brain and spine. She is one of 260 certified neuro-oncologists in the United States. Listen this Sunday, September 27 at 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. for more.
