Live coverage: Open hearings in the impeachment inquiry begin today

The U.S. House of Representatives is holding open hearings in its impeachment inquiry into President Trump. The public hearings begin this morning at 10 a.m. EST with testimony from both Ambassador William Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent. Live hearings will continue on Friday, November 15 at 9 a.m. with testimony from former Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.
