Live coverage: Impeachment inquiry hearings continue today

Special coverage of the hearings of the U.S. House of Representatives impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump continue for the second day this week. The public hearings begin at 9 a.m. EST with testimony from Gordon Sondland, U.S. Ambassador to the European Union.

Coverage of the hearings will continue this afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m. EST with testimony from Laura Cooper, a deputy assistant secretary at the Defense Department and David Hale, the undersecretary of state for political affairs at the State Department. Live hearings will continue tomorrow, starting at 9 a.m.
