Mary Walker

A weekend ceremony will celebrate the release of the Dr. Mary Walker quarter and attendees will receive their very own.

The 2024 American Women Quarters Program features coins with depictions of women who have contributed significantly to the suffrage movement, civil rights, the humanities and other causes. Among the honorees is Oswego native Dr. Mary Edwards Walker.

The image of Oswego native and women's rights advocate, Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, will be issued on a 2024 U.S. quarter.
