This week: Breast cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment

About one in eight women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer during their lifetimes. In the year 2020 alone, an estimated 276,000 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and an estimated 48,000 will be diagnosed with a non-invasive form of breast cancer.

This episode of "HealthLink on Air" explores what you need to know about prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment with Dr. Ranjna Sharma a surgeon and medical director of the breast cancer program at Upstate Medical University, and Dr. Jayne Charlamb, director of the breast cancer high-risk program at Upstate.

Physical therapist Chris Bateson is also part of the program, sharing expertise about lymphedema and its treatment. Listen this Sunday, October 25 at 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. for more.
