Wayne County confirms 2 additional cases of COVID-19

Wayne County Public Health is confirming it has received notification that two additional county residents have tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the total number of cases of the virus in that county up to three.

Health officials say at this time, all three confirmed cases are being treated in area hospitals and continue to be monitored by Wayne County Public Health.

Officials also released some demographic information about the three confirmed cased involving COVID-19. They are:

1 Female in her 80s

1 Male in his 70s

1 Male in his 60s
