The Art & Science of Caring for Others Without Losing Yourself
In this inspiring and practical session, cardiologist and well-being leader Dr. Jonathan Fisher explores how caregivers can offer deep empathy and connection—while protecting their own emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Drawing from the latest research in neuroscience, mindfulness, and human connection, Dr. Fisher shares evidence-based strategies to strengthen presence, communication, and resilience.
Participants will learn how to align heart and mind in moments of care, navigate emotional challenges like burnout and moral injury, and rediscover meaning in the sacred act of caregiving. Whether you’re a healthcare professional, advocate, or family caregiver, this talk offers powerful tools to care for others without losing yourself along the way.

Getting recruited to fill the position in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers previously held by Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor and Peter Green is just the most recent honor Carolyn Wonderland has earned in a career brimming with praise from fellow guitar greats. Her hot licks, solid songwriting and powerhouse vocals make Wonderland's passionate performances intensely satisfying.
No wonder her original, bluesified, cosmic soul music, mixed with doses of Tex-Mex and riff-fueled rock ‘n’ roll, brings audiences to their feet and invites for her to play from greats including Bob Dylan, Johnny Winter, Townes Van Zandt, Levon Helm, Willie Nelson, James Cotton and Kris Kristofferson.
This Texas legend is gaining international acclaim for her outstanding concerts and superb albums. From first note to last, you'll know why when Carolyn and her band hit Unity Hall's Main Stage for this showcase concert event!
Tickets are $35 and are available exclusively through Humanitix.com. If available, tickets the night of the concert go on-sale at 6:45 p.m. at the box office.
