Join Syracuse City Ballet (SCB) for an unforgettable afternoon that brings together imagination, dance, and fairytale charm.
Guests will be welcomed into a whimsical tea party setting featuring sweet treats, specialty drinks, and interactive entertainment provided by Syracuse City Ballet. The afternoon includes a special 30-minute storytelling performance of Cinderella with narration, an interactive dance lesson, story time with a Syracuse City Ballet dancer, photo opportunities, and fun coloring and craft activities.
Children are encouraged to dress in their favorite fairytale attire and enjoy browsing the SCB merchandise table, featuring tutus, tiaras, wands, and more.
There will be a delightful selection of mini cannolis, flourless chocolate torte, prince and princess themed sugar cookies, and a hot chocolate station. Specialty pink and blue “Prince & Princess” mocktails will also be available, along with a cash bar for adults.
The Sanctuary Seasonings arts series offers a concert by Young Musicians, with freewill offerings to be donated to the PREP program of the Homer Congregational Church (Providing Resources & Essentials to Prepare Kids for School). Performers are young musicians from the Cortland area who, having attained a high level of proficiency, are committed to enhancing their musical and performance skills.
The public is invited to enjoy inspiring performances, along with cookies afterward! The building is fully accessible.
